Eric Carter

Eric Carter, 73 Derrygreenagh Park, Rochfortbridge, Co. Westmeath (Ex Bord Na Mona), passed away 8th January 2024, (peacefully) in the excellent care of the doctors, nurses and staff of the Cuin Suite, Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar with his heartbroken family by his side. Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Mary, infant son Eric, parents Sam and Florence, brothers Des, Willie and Cecil, sister Esther. He will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his devoted family, sons Peter, David and Michael, daughters Mary, Linda and Violet, daughter-in-law Patricia, son-in-law Gabriel, his cherished and adored grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, wonderful lifelong neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May Eric's Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Reposing at his home (73 Derrygreenagh Park, N91 W2C2) on Tuesday (9th Jan) from 4pm until Prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rochfortbridge with burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Patient Comfort Fund, Medical 1. Donation box will be at the house.

The family would like to sincerely thank the Palliative Care team and also the doctors, nurses, health care assistants and staff of Medical 1 and the Cuin Suite for the exellent care of their Dad during his time there.
