Eric (Patrick Anthony) Leonard

The death has occurred of Eric (Patrick Anthony) Leonard (Retired Garda), Kinnegad, Co. Westmeath and formerly of St John's, Lacarrow, Co.Roscommon November 15th (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Roselodge Nursing Home.

Eric is predeceased by his parents Edward and Delia,his brothers Thomas, Hugh and Ted.His sisters Margaret, Bridie, Elsie and Adeline .

Beloved husband of Noreen and much loved Daddy to Phelim, David, Barry, Caroline, Ronan & Enda and adored grandfather of Chloe, Lily, Ciara, Roisin, Eric, Luke, Cathal, Ross and Amelie. Eric will be forever and dearly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Tina & Rachel, Phelim’s partner Elaine, Enda’s partner Ciara, brother Liam, sisters Bernadette and Phil, brothers- in- law Ray & Matt, Sisters-in-law Maureen Gowran & Angela Walsh, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his home (Mullingar Road, Kinnegad, N91 Y9H2) on Sunday 17th November, 2024 from 4pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Monday morning 18th November to St. Mary’s Church, Kinnegad, arriving for funeral mass at 12pm, followed by burial in Coralstown Cemetery.
