Ernest Forbes

Forbes (Sandycove, Co. Dublin, late of Belfast) February 13th, 2026 (peacefully) in the kind care of all the staff of St. Michael’s Hospital, Dun Laoghaire, Ernest, beloved husband of Mary, loving father of Roma, Errol, Michele and Lisa. Sadly missed by his wife, children, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephew Philip, extended family and friends. Remembering also Eleanor, his brother Garth, sister-in-law Doreen and son-in-law Nicky.

Reposing, Wednesday February 18th, in Quinn’s of Glasthule A96 EW88 from 4pm to 6pm. Removal, Thursday February 19th, to the National Maritime Museum, Dun Laoghaire A96 C6X7 arriving for 11am Funeral Service, followed by cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium at 3.15pm. Family flowers only please.
