The death has occurred of
Essie Dowd
(née Ward)
Formerly of Trust, Kilconnell, Ballinasloe. Peacefully, after a short illness in the loving care of Portiuncula Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Nancy and brothers in law John, Gerry and David (Ding). Essie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her loving husband Tony, son Joseph, brothers Tom and Noel, sisters Mary, Ann and Patricia, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, colleagues and staff of Portiuncula Hospital, neighbours and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace
Reposing at her home (H53 XD21) on Wednesday, 5th April, from 5 pm to 7 pm. Funeral cortege arriving to St. Teresa’s Church, Killure, on Holy Thursday for Funeral Service at 11 am. Burial afterwards in Kilconnell New Cemetery.
