Esther (Betty) Doyle

Esther (Betty) Doyle (née Maher) of Bray, Co. Wicklow, and formerly of Botanic Avenue, Glasnevin, Dublin. Passed peacefully on Wednesday, 12th November 2025, in the loving care of the staff at Kilcoole Lodge Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Patrick (Pat), daughter of the late James and Florence, and sister of the late Michael, James, Peter, Ronald, Elsie, and Florence. Predeceased by her nieces Debbie, Leisa, and Florence, and her nephews Stephen, Freddy, and Raymond.

Sadly missed by her loving children Anne, Anthony (Tony), and Derek, daughters-in-law Yvette and Rhona, son-in-law Eamon, her grandchildren Louise, Rachel, Alex, Susannah, and Clara, great-grandchildren Rian, Jake, Elise, Erin, and Cian, her lifelong friend Betty, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.

Reposing at Thomas Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, Boghall Road, Bray (A98 R673) on Sunday, 16th November, from 4.00pm to 5.00pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, 17th November at 10am in St. Peter’s Church, Little Bray, followed by committal in The Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium at 12.15pm.
