The death has occurred of Esther (Essie) Stapleton (nee Egan),
Clontuskert, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway.
Essie passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family after a long illness bourne with great dignity and courage. Predeceased by her father Charles, sister Mary and brother in laws PJ and James. Deeply regretted by her loving family, husband Michéal, son Eoin, daughter Michelle, daughter in law Patricia, son in law Andrew and adored grandchild Oisín. Essie will be very sadly missed by her mother Mary, sisters Margaret, Teresa, Anne, Angela and Martina, brothers Charles and Joe, her sisters in law, brothers in law, her nieces and nephews, relatives and her many friends and neighbours in Clontuskert and beyond.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at Grehams Funeral home, St. Michaels Square Ballinasloe on Friday, 12th May 2023, from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, the 13th May, at 12 noon at St. Augustine's Church, Clontuskert, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
