Tierney (née Brierton) Esther (Essie), 28th February 2022, St. Peter’s Road, Greenhills and formerly of Mercer House, Dublin 2. Peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family in the kind care of the staff of Tallaght Hospital, beloved wife of the late Peter, cherished mam of Olive and the late Dominic, loving mother-in-law of Declan and June and much-loved nana of Catherine, Emma, Paul, Steven, Declan and Paul. Essie will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her loving daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren Ben, Ellie, Sofia, Analuiza, Oisín, Isabelle, Peter and Jack, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Essie rest in peace.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Friday from 2pm to 4pm only, followed by removal to the Church of the Holy Spirit, Greenhills arriving at 5pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11.30am followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery.
