Esther Mary Steele
(née Boyce)
The death has occurred, unexpectedly, at Mayo University Hospital on 12th October 2021 of Esther Mary Steele, nee Boyce, 3 Garryduff Court, Castlebar and formerly of Crumlin, Dublin. Daughter of the late John Joseph Boyce and Ann Mary Boyce. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Claire, her adored grandchildren Callum and Johnny, her siblings Mary, Angela, Edel and John, relatives and friends.
Aged 69 years Esther was a nurse in the Royal Airforce in her early life. She subsequently worked in Dáil Eireann as a secretary to former Minister Proinsias De Rossa. She moved to Castlebar over 20 years ago where she made many friends.
May she rest in peace.
