Eugene Cussen

Eugene Cussen, 5 Lawndale Drive, Dooradoyle, Limerick. Formally of Knockavilla, Dundrum, Co.Tipperary, 25th, 2023, peacefully at Milford Care Centre after a short illness bravely borne. Late of Ardnacrusha ESB, Krups, Ferenka, Pako, HDI Ltd. and to any home where there was a job to be done with fun and a glint in his eye. Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, Daughter Irene Ryan (nee Cussen), Sons Gene, Adrian, Paul. Grandchildren Steven, Jennifer, Caroline, Deborah, Thea, Darcy, Leon, Tyler, Andrew, Audrey, Gavin, Lilah, Max. Great-grandchildren Riley and Esme. Son-in-law Ger Ryan, Adrian's partner Gema Perez, his late sisters Vera Furlong (Tramore) and Maureen O' Hanlon (New Ross), brothers Brendan and John, sisters Sr. Kathleen (Wexford) and Maeve (Tramore), brother-in-law Liam, sister-in-law Colette, ex-wife Kate (of San Francisco), nephews, nieces, extended family and friends Claire, Michel, Lynn, Lawndale neighbours & his lifelong friends, Marie O'Connell and John Gorey.

Reposing at Thompson's Funeral Home, Thomas Street this Sunday (27th August) from 4:30 pm to 6 pm, followed by removal to St Paul's Church, Dooradoyle. Requiem Mass will take place on Monday (28th August) at 11:30 am followed by burial in Castlemungret Cemetery.
