Eugene (Eoin) O'Neill

O'Neill (Kinsale) on May 24th 2025, peacefully at the Mercy University Hospital. Eugene (Eoin) (Retired Post Master) most dearly loved husband of the late Philomena (nee O'Connell), Troopers Court and adored father of Anthony, William, Mena, Patricia, Louise and Albert. Predeceased by his siblings Albert, John, Mary, Hughie and Betty.

 

Sadly missed by his loving family, daughters-in-law Sally, Ann and Isabel, son-in-law Stephen, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family, neighbours, many friends and his former colleagues at An Post Kinsale, Kinsale Credit Union and Kinsale GAA.

 

Eoin will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Kinsale on Monday from 6.30pm followed by prayers at 8pm.

 

Removal on Tuesday at 1.30pm approx. from Funeral Home to St. John the Baptist Church, Kinsale for Requiem Mass at 2pm which will be livestreamed on www.churchservices.tv/kinsale, after which Eoin will be laid to rest in St. Eltin's Cemetery, Kinsale.
