Eugene Gavin

10.01.1945 - 11.09.2020 (75 years) Eugene   passed away (peacefully) at home surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Maura and father of Adrian, Damien, Deirdre, Vincent and Alan.  He will be sadly missed by his wife, sons and daughter, his sister May, his son-in-law and daughters-in-law, his nieces and nephews, his grandchildren Eoin, Maebh, Ryan, Luke, Patrick, Ellie and Shay.   

Reposing at home for relatives and friends on Sunday afternoon, 13th September, 2020.  Requiem Mass on Monday, 14th September at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption and St. James, Claregalway.  Parish community radio (local listening) –106.4 FM.  Funeral after Mass to Rinville Cemetery, Oranmore.   No flowers please, donations in memory of Eugene to the Galway Hospice

The Church capacity remains the same at 50 people and visitors/relatives are welcomed to the Mass with 'Church Passes'.  The cemetery gathering  is restricted to 15 people.  Those who would have liked to attend the funeral but cannot do so, are invited to leave a personal message in the condolence section below. This will be greatly appreciated by the family. Please follow government guidelines and advice on social distancing, refrain from shaking hands and kindly wear a mask. Many thanks.
