Gene, passed peacefully from this life on Saturday 24th February 2024, in the care of the staff of Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe and surrounded by his loving family.

Gene will be sadly missed by his wife Carmel, his sons Ian and Noel, daughter-in-law Claire, his sister Mary and her husband Hubert (O'Reilly), his sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, members of the extended family, neighbours and friends.

Gene will repose in Dignity Funeral Care, funeral home, Portumna, on the grounds of Portumna Retirement Village (H53 AY18) on Tuesday 27th February from 5pm with removal to St Lawrence's Church Tynagh at 7pm

 

Requiem Mass for Gene on Wednesday 28th February at 12 noon with burial immediately afterwards in Tynagh cemetery. For those unable to attend, Mass can be viewed using the following link: Gene's Mass
