The death has occurred of Eugene (Gene) Hanratty, Tullyharnett, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Saturday, July 17th, 2021, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his brother Sean. Gene, deeply regretted and remembered with love by his wife Mary, sons Francis and Eugene Junior, sister Helen Mc Parland, brother in law Joe Mc Parland, God child Lorraine, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence, amongst family and friends, until removal on Tuesday morning to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney, for funeral Mass at 1pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass will be live streamed on the link https://www.churchservices.tv/muckno
Due to current restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Gene’s funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family. Those who would have liked to attend but due to current restrictions cannot, please leave a personal message for the family in the condolence section below.
