The death has occurred of
Eugene (Jane) Lacey
Eugene, passed away peacefully at UHL, on 3rd September, 2025, predeceased by his parents Jim and Norry, brothers Sean and Ben, nephews Jimmy and John-Michael.
Survived by his loving family, nephews John-Paul, Ben and Michael, Nieces Maria, Helena, Norry, Christina, Ida, Jane and Rachel, sister in-law Ita, nephew’s in-law, grand nephews, grand nieces, neighbours and friends.
A special word of thanks to the compassionate staff at St. Ita’s Community Hospital and Killeline Nursing Home for the wonderful care of Uncle Jane.
Reposing at Reidy’s Funeral Home, Newcastle West, this Friday 5th September from 6pm until 7.30pm
Requiem Mass Saturday at 12 noon in St. Ita’s Church, Ashford, Burial afterwards in Monagea cemetery.
