The death has occurred of
Eugene KAVANAGH
Sixth generation proprietor of John Kavanagh’s Pub (The Gravediggers). Peacefully in the exceptional care of the Sisters and the staff of the Sacred Heart Ward, Bon Secours Hospital, Glasnevin. Beloved husband of Kathleen and loving father of Anthony, Anne, Eoin, Ciarán, Sinéad and Niall (his best pal). Sadly missed by his sisters Kathleen and Phyllis, grandchildren Stephen, Robert, Becky, Niamh, Deaglán, Liam, Annabelle and Juliette, godson Michael, nieces, nephews, in-laws, relatives and friends.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning, August 25th, at 11am in St. Columba’s Church, Iona Road, Glasnevin followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery. No flowers please. Donations instead to Capuchin Day Centre for Homeless People, 29 Bow Street, Dublin 7 or at www.capuchindaycentre.ie. House strictly private.
