Eugene passed away peacefully in the tender care of Dr Calvert’s Team and the staff of the Palliative care ward, University Hospital, Waterford, he was surrounded by his loving family.

 

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Stella Long and his loving partner Linda Griffin

 

Eugene, sadly missed by his brothers Michael, Ken and Colm, sisters Geraldine and Helena, sister-in-law Jennie, close friend Keith, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Thompsons Funeral Home, Barrack Street Waterford on Wednesday (1st October) from 7.00pm to 8.30pm with rosary and prayers at 8.00pm.

 

Requiem Mass on arrival in Sacred Heart Church, The Folly on Thursday (2nd October) at 12.00 noon, followed by cremation in the Island Crematorium, Cork on Friday at 3:00pm

 

Mass will be live streamed from 12 noon by following the Funeral Service Link below.

 

Eugene's Cremation Service will be live streamed on Friday (3rd October) at 3:00pm by following the Cremation Service link below.
