The death has occurred of
Eugene O'Callaghan
The death has taken place of Eugene O'Callaghan, Sandfield Terrace, Mallow and formerly of Castlemagner, who passed away peacefully on May 27th 2024, surrounded by his loving family and in the exceptional care of the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Cork, beloved husband of Mary (née Barry) and dear brother of Billy, Dan Joe, Kathleen, Nora and Hannah.
Sadly missed by his loving wife, brothers, sisters, mother-in-law Nora and her partner Jim, sisters-in-law Angela and Kitty, brother-in-law Tom, Hannah's partner Niall, nieces, nephews, especially William, Margaret, Paula, Tanya and Timothy, and their respective partners Mairead, Eddie, Pat and Aisling, god-daughter's Maura and Aoibhe, extended family, wonderful neighbours and friends.
May He Rest In Peace.
Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Tuesday (May 28th) from 5pm to 7pm followed by Removal to the Church of the Resurrection, Mallow.
Requiem Mass on Wednesday (May 29th) at 11.30am which may be viewed on www.mycondolences.ie.
Funeral afterwards to St. Gobnait's Cemetery, Mallow.

The family would like to thank Dr. Tommy Carroll and his team at Mallow Primary Health Care Clinic and the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Cork for the wonderful care shown to Eugene during his illness.
