Eugene O'Callaghan

Eugene O’Callaghan of Caherwisheen, Ballyard, Tralee and formerly Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary, died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on 18th December 2025, beloved husband of Noreen (née Buckley), and cherished father of Eoin, Frank, Susan and Anne, brother of the late Norma and brother-in-law of the late Frank.

Sadly missed by his loving family, his grandchildren Darragh, Seán, Evyn, Katie-Anne, Fionán, Ruairí, Saoirse, Hugo, Amy, Danny & Heidi, sons-in-law Liam O’Hanlon and Dan Horan, daughters-in-law Linda Hussey and Deirdre Hand, Brothers Jimmy, Gerry, Leo, Paul and Paschal, sisters Nuala, Concepta, Angela and Collette, brothers-in-law Dan, Pat and Sean Buckley, sisters-in-law Anna O’Shea and Kay Meade, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Eugene will repose at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee, on Sunday (21st December) from 3 to 5 p.m. Funeral arriving to St. John’s Church, Tralee on Monday morning at 11.30 a.m. where the Requiem Mass for Eugene will be celebrated at 12 noon (streamed on www.stjohns.ie). Interment afterwards in Rath Lawn Cemetery, Tralee.
