Peacefully at the Northwest Hospice, surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Catherine, brothers Michael and Hugh.

Devoted husband of Mathona, dear father of Damien, Declan, Miriam, Sinéad, and Fiona.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, brother Tommy, sisters Mary Clerkin and Kathleen Mulvaney, daughter-in-law Sabrina, sons-in-law Paul Wims and Enda Haran, partners Declan McGoldrick, Daniela Carta, grandchildren, Jake, Cameron, Eva, Rachel, Ceara, Rebecca, Darragh, Michael and Chloe, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo (F91 YR61) on Monday 5th January 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
Funeral will arrive to St. John’s Church Carraroe (F91 E729) on Tuesday 6th January at 11:30am, for requiem mass followed by burial in Sligo Cemetery.
