Eugene Traynor

Traynor, Eugene, 14th January 2026 (Jobstown, Dublin 24 and formerly of Kilinkere, Virginia, Co Cavan), (peacefully), surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of Tallaght Hospital; beloved husband of Josephine, much loved dad of Christine, Eugene, Lorraine, Declan, Lisa and Karen and adored grandad of Katie, Lucy, Daniel, Hannah Rose, Sophie, Lorcan, Aoife and Alice. Eugene will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, sisters Sr. Kathleen and Rosie, brother James, daughter-in-law Emma, sons-in-law David and Brendan, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Tallaght (opposite The Square) on Saturday (17th January) from 3pm to 5pm. Eugene will be reposing at his home on Sunday (18th January) from 2pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday (19th January) at 11am in Church of St Thomas the Apostle, Jobstown and afterwards for burial in Newland's Cross Cemetery.
