Eugenie Perceval
(née Strickland)
Eugenie Mary Perceval (née Strickland) of Rosbeg, Westport died peacefully 21st February 2023, after long illness bravely fought. Deeply missed by loving husband Patrick, son Ronan and daughter Oonagh, grandsons Angus, Felix, Fred, Zachary and Albie, brothers Benjamin, Timothy, Simon and Owen.
Eugenie blew in 43 years ago from a life lived across Europe and the Middle East and made Westport her happy home. An active member of the local community from environmental campaigning against gold mining on the Reek, to Beavers, to the arts community, poetry writing, book clubs, bridge, tennis, badminton and beach combing.
Reposing at her home (F28 W220) from 4.30pm on Wednesday, 22nd February. Funeral Mass on Thursday, 23rd February, at 12noon in St. Patrick's Church, Lecanvey. Private cremation to follow.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Mayo Hospice, Castlebar.
