Evan Connolly

Pre-deceased by his brother Conor, grandparents Paddy and Nellie Wade, Mary and Martin Connolly, uncle John Wade and recently deceased Auntie Marion Courtney.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death or our beautiful Evan who died on Saturday, 10 June, 2023 in the tender and loving care of the Galway Hospice.

Treasured husband of Caroline (née Lost) and magical father to dear Emer. 

Much loved son of Anna and Larry, beloved brother of Elaine and brother -in-law of Brendan Lee.

Evan was the best uncle to baby Odhrán and he will be forever held in the hearts of many in particular his wife, daughter, parents, sister and brother-in-law and nephew, the extended Lost, Connolly and Wade families and by his amazing, loving supportive friends, colleagues and wonderful neighbours.

He is gone, but only his body. 

His love and beautiful soul will be with us forever.

A Committal Service to celebrate Evan’s life will be celebrated at Shannon Crematorium on Friday, 16 June, 2023 at 2 p.m.  Live-streaming link through
