BYRNE, Evelyn (née O’Neill), late of Ballinteer and Rathfarnham, passed away peacefully, after a short illness, on the 3rd of July 2023, surrounded by her loving family, in the care of the staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Beloved wife of Eoin, loving mother to Conor, adored daughter of Joe and Gwen and much-loved sister of Clíona, Hugh, and Susan; she will be very sadly missed by her heartbroken husband, son, parents, siblings, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, mother and father-in-law, her nieces, nephews and all extended family, neighbours and many good friends.

Evelyn will be reposing at her home in Ballinteer on Wednesday, July 5th, from 5pm to 8pm (Everybody Welcome). Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Ballinteer, D16 VK27, arriving for 10.30am funeral mass, followed by a private family cremation service. Evelyn’s family have requested that those who are attending the funeral wear something colourful and not black.
