The death has occurred of Evelyn Harriet Cassidy nee Coote, in her 99th year, in the wonderful care of the staff at Sheelin Nursing Home, Mountnugent and formally of Fintavin, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan on Thursday 25th January 2024.
Predeceased by her husband Charles, daughters Veronica and Evelyn, sons-in-law Tom and Charles, daughter-in-law Christine and grandson David. Much loved mother of Olive, Jimmy, Robert (Florence), George and Alice. Adored by her 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, son-in-law, Edgar, sister-in-law Pam, her many nieces and nephews, neighbours and friends.
Resting at Mathews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Rd., Virginia (A82YV58) on Saturday evening from 5.00pm until 7.30pm. Leaving her family home on Sunday at 1.30pm to arrive at Billis, Parish Church for funeral service at 2.00pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.
House private please. Family flowers only. Donations, if so desired, to Billis Parish Church Repair Fund, care of Freddie Kettyle funeral director or any family member.
