Evelyn Clare Montgomery
(née Watson)

The family are sad to announce the passing of Evelyn Clare Montgomery (nee Watson). Clare was the loving wife to John (deceased) and devoted mother to Neil and Douglas.Stepmother to Alan and Sean and friend to John's other adult children Joan, Derek, Anne, Patrica and Helen. Grandmother to Robert, Lisa, Colm, Faye and Autumn. Great grandmother to Lily, Darcie, Roisin, Jaxson and Kash. Clare will also be sadly missed by all including her daughters-in-law Angela and Charlene and Alan's close friend Andy, and her beloved nieces and nephews.Clare has been reunited with her parents Thomas and Mary and her siblings Vera, Eileen and Thomas.

Clare was from Deans Grange and lived there till she retired to Fethard-on-Sea, Co Wexford. More lately she lived in Ailt an Oir, Glenageary, Co. Dublin and for her final two years in Atlanta Nursing Home in Bray, Co. Wicklow.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the medical professionals and particularly to the staff and carers at Atlanta who handled Mum's final illness with great care and professionalism. Clare will be much missed by all her friends and family.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Thomas Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, Boghall Road, Bray (A98R673), on Thursday, August 15th, from 6pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning, August 16th, at 10am in St. John The Baptist Church, Blackrock, followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery.
