Evelyn passed away peacefully in Nazareth House, Dromahane on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025.

 

Dear wife of the late Ned, much loved mother of M.J., Sean, Maisie and Caroline, cherished grandmother of Ryan, Bill, Kara, Sean Óg and Barry.

 

Dear sister of Frances and Fr. Liam.

 

Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughter-in-law Susan, M.J.'s partner Mary, late son-in-law Richard (Dick), sister-in-law Nora McCarthy, nieces, nephews, relatives and neighbours.

 

May Evelyn Rest in Peace

 

Reposing in Hawe - O'Keeffe's Funeral Home (P56 YY15), Bakers Road, Charleville, on Bank Holiday Monday, Prayers at 6:00pm followed by Reposing until 8:00pm.

 

Reception into St. Joseph's Church, Newtownshandrum on Tuesday morning for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, after which Evelyn will be laid to rest in Newtown new Cemetery.
