Evelyn died peacefully at Mayo University Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Peter and Brother Mattie. Very deeply regretted by her loving sons, Sean, P.J., Gerard (USA) and Fergal, sisters Margaret Kennedy (USA), Della Kivlehen (USA), Julia Fegan (USA), Chrissie Finnerty (USA), Kathleen Walsh (Kilimor, The Neale) and brother Paddy (USA), Fergal's partner Mary, grandchildren Niall and Niamh, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Gilligans Funeral Home Market Square, Claremorris on Tuesday evening, Oct 5th, from 5.30 p.m to 7p.m. (Walk through only, no hand shaking please). Requiem Mass on Wednesday, Oct 6th, at 12 Noon in St Michael’s Church, Taugheen with burial afterwards in Taugheen Old Cemetery.

Funeral Mass will be live streamed on the “Taugheen Community” Facebook page.
