Evelyn Martha Caroline Hughes
(née Monteith)
Evelyn Martha Caroline Hughes (née Monteith) of Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow, died on the 8th of March 2025, in her 59th year, in the loving care of the staff of the Wicklow Hospice. Loving wife of Philip, adored mother of Steven and Tim. She will be sadly missed by Tim’s fiancée Jessica, Steven’s girlfriend Jemima, her cousins, nephews, relatives and friends.
A Service of Thanksgiving for her life will take place on Thursday (13th March) at 11.00am in the Church of the Nazarene, Burnaby Lawns, Greystones followed by burial in Redford Cemetery, The Grove, Greystones. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society and Wicklow Hospice. Those attending Evelyn’s funeral are encouraged to wear bright, colourful clothing.
