The death has occurred of Evelyn McDermott (née Quinn) of Ballinvoher, Caherlistrane, Co. Galway.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of Evelyn's passing.

Peacefully and surrounded by her loving family and friends, in the wonderful care of the staff of UHG, on the 9th of November, 2025.

 

Predeceased by her parents Pat and Annie Quinn.

 

Evelyn will be sadly missed by her loving husband Paddy, daughters Ann Marie and Aishling.

Sadly missed by her sisters Nuala and husband Charlie Lynch (England), Josie and Stephen O'Hara (England), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

May Evelyn's Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

 

Evelyn will repose at Cradock's Funeral Home, Shrule, Co. Mayo (H91RF1C) on Wednesday November 12th from 6pm to 8pm.

Removal afterwards to her home in Ballinvoher.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday November 13th at 12pm in the Church of Mary Immaculate and St. Joseph, Caherlistrane (H91E4X6).

Following Mass Evelyn will be laid to rest at Donnaghpatrick Cemetery, Headford/Caherlistrane.
