Murphy, Fergus A. – 3rd February 2026, (Dundalk and formerly of Malahide, Co Dublin) , (Peacefully), surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at Mount Tabor Nursing Home. Beloved husband of Margot and devoted father of Keelin, Judith, Jeff, Marita and Nichola. Very sadly missed by his wife and children, daughter-in-law Aoife, sons-in-law Paul Heneghan, Robin Williams and John Vard, grandchildren, James, Emma, Finn, Rory, Anna, Róisín, Luke, Kevin, Eoghan and Isaac, siblings Geraldine, Yvonne, Paul, Vourneen and Caroline, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, Aunt Marie, extended family and his wide circle of friends.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Mount Tabor Nursing Home for their wonderful care and kindness shown to Fergus.

Reposing at Massey Brothers Funeral Home, Newtownpark Ave, Stillorgan Park, Blackrock, (A94 X308) on Thursday afternoon 5th February from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Friday morning to the Church of St Mary’s Star of the Sea, Sandymount arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium at 12:30pm.

Cremation times may vary depending on availability in the crematorium. If you wish to view the live stream, it is advisable to access the webcam approximately 1.5 hours after the church start time.
