Fergus McGee

Castleknock, Dublin / Enniscrone, Sligo

Late of College Grove, Castleknock, Dublin and formerly of Enniscrone, Co. Sligo and ESB and Stobart Aer (Aer Arann), passed away peacefully on August 8th 2021. Fergus, best friend and beloved husband of Elizabeth, in their 50th year of marriage. Beloved father of Farrell, Aoife, Fintan and Alma and adored grandfather. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law Micheal and Leigh, daughters-in-law Lucy and Stella, grandchildren Oran, Oisín, Caoimhe, Alice, Cillian, Saoirse, Ergina and baby Eve, brother Gabriel, sister Brenda, and pre-deceased by his brother Raymond, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Due to Government advice and restrictions regarding public gatherings and to protect our most vulnerable family members and our friends, a private family funeral will take place.

Fergus’s cortege will pass his home on Wednesday morning at 9.30am approximately for any neighbours and friends who would like to pay their respects.

Burial will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Kilglass, Enniscrone, Co. Sligo on Wednesday afternoon 11th. August arriving at 3.00pm approx.
