Fergus MCGOVERN

(Peacefully) in the loving care of his family and  staff of  Oakwood Nursing Home, Ballaghaderreen; Fergus;  former CEO of Telecom Eireann and Fellow of IMI; predeceased by his wife Angie (nee Staunton); loving father of Kevin, Fergus, Dermot and Gerald. Sadly missed by his loving sons,  sisters Carmel and Maura, his 9 grandchildren, daughter-in-law Edel, brothers-in-law Dermot and Tony, sisters-in-law, his nephews, nieces, colleagues, neighbours and friends.

Fergus will repose at The Sharkey Funeral Home Ballaghaderreen on  Monday evening from 6 pm until 7 pm with prayer service at 7pm. Fergus will repose at Carnegies Funeral Home, The Crescent, Monkstown on Tuesday afternoon from 2.30 pm with removal at 4.30 pm to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock arriving at 5 pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday morning at 10 am followed by interment in Shanganagh cemetery.
