Fergus Murphy

Murphy, Highfield, Dublin Road, Arklow, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Courtown, Co. Wexford, who passed away on the 21st August 2024, peacefully at home in the loving care of his family in his 90th year. Fergus beloved husband of the late Sheila (née Keating), loving dad of Deirdre, Maeve and Orla, dearly loved brother of Monica and Lucy and the late Des. He will be sadly missed by his loving daughters, grandchildren Oonagh, Patrick, Tara, Finley, Rory and Daniel, sons-in-law Paul, Stephen and Johnnie, sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Hudson’s Funeral Home (Y14 PT80) Friday from 4.30pm with removal at 6.30pm to St. Joseph’s Church, Templerainey, Arklow arriving for reception prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass Saturday morning at 10 am, followed by burial in Barranisky Graveyard.
