Fidelis Lavelle (née Lynn), Attycunnane, Belmullet, Co. Mayo and formerly of ‘Lavelle’s Bar’, Main Street, Belmullet and Rathbane, Crossmolina in her 97th Year peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family on 27th March 2026.

Predeceased by her husband Paddy Joe and her brothers Kevin, Tom, Vincent and John Joe.

Beloved mother of Pascal, Martin, Yvonne, Mary, Fiona, Regina and Sarah. She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, cherished grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchild, sons in law, daughters in law, sister Rosaleen Gilboy (Crossmolina), sisters in law Maureen, Peggy and Rose, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Fidelus will lie in repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Monday evening from Funeral 5 o’clock until 8 o’clock with funeral arriving at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet at 9.15. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.
