Fidelma Cummins

Fidelma Cummins (née McLeavey) died peacefully on 27th March 2026, in the gentle care of the staff of St. Brigid’s Hospice, Co. Kildare.

Pre-deceased by her husband Pat, and by her darling son Derek.

Loved by all who knew her, Fidelma is sadly missed by her beloved son Ian, her sisters Bernadette, Breda and Eithne, brothers Miceal and Bernard, her brother-in-law Willie, her sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, members of the Cummins family, her McCormick and McLeavey cousins, and by her very many dear friends.

Fidelma was extremely grateful for the expert care provided by the Oncology Team, St. James’s Hospital, St. Luke's Hospital, the HSE Cancer Support Team Naas, and finally by the loving care of the Palliative Care Team at Naas General Hospital, and St. Brigid’s Hospice, Kildare. Throughout this journey she received wonderful support from the very kind volunteers of the Irish Cancer Society.

Removal to St. Brigid’s Church, Kill on Tuesday morning (31st March) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill, Co. Dublin. House Private.
