The death has occurred of
Finbar (Barry) McSweeney
Finbar (Barry) McSweeney of Loughlinstown, Dublin 18 and formerly of Glasnevin, Dublin 9, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday 11th August, 2020, following a short illness, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, with his family by his side. Beloved husband of 54 years of Fiorella, devoted and inspirational father of Elisa, Silvia and Marco, father-in-law of John, Ivan and Alexandra and loving Grandad of Aisling, Siobhan and David; Barry will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his family, extended family and friends.
A private funeral Mass for family and close friends will take place on Friday morning (Aug. 14) at 11.00am in St. Brigid’s Church, Cabinteely, Dublin 18 and this may be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/cabinteely. Cremation will follow at Mount Jerome. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to Friends of the Royal Hospital, Donnybrook , www.rhd.ie .
