Finbarr O'SULLIVAN

Bray, Wicklow / Cork City, Cork

Finbarr O’Sullivan of Bray, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Cork City and RTE, died on the 19th January, 2026, peacefully, with his family, following a long illness, borne with courage and dignity.

 

Deeply mourned by his wife Rose; much loved Dad of Louise, John and Barry, loving brother of Vincent, father-in-law of Lynn, adoring grandfather of Sean, Molly and Maedbh, brother-in-law of Carmel; he will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law of the O’Reilly family and by his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his siblings Mary, Kathleen, Tess, Philomena, Breda, Jim and John and son-in-law Massimo.

 

Removal from his home on Friday morning (Jan.23) at 10.05am, walking to the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray arriving for Requiem Mass at 10.30am, followed by Cremation Service at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray.

 

May his gentle soul rest in peace
