Fintan Burke

Formerly Davis Road, Shantalla

Fintan passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve in the wonderful care of the staff at Galway University Hospital.

Beloved son of the late Michael and Mary Burke.

Predeceased by his brothers Michael and Tom.

Mourned and sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and in particular his nephew Oliver, the extended Burke family, neighbours and friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace

Funeral arrangements:

Tuesday 30th December, 2025 : Reposing at the O' Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) from 9.45 a.m. with Removal at 10.45 a.m. to St. Joseph's Church, Presentation Road, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m.

Following Mass, Fintan will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.

Parking and entrance to the funeral parlour.

Please approach the entrance to the funeral parlour by foot from Fr. Burke Park.

Street parking may be available on Fr. Griffin Road, within Claddagh, on Henry Street and Sea Road. Parking may be scarce on Munster Avenue.

Car Parks within walking distance of the funeral parlour.

Claddagh Church, Spanish Arch and Mill Street which is adjacent to the Garda Station
