Fintan Nally,

Clonbonny, Athlone on 1st April, 2025

 

Peacefully following an illness bravely borne at home surrounded by his loving family and his carer Doris.

Predeceased by his parents, Frank & Elizabeth Nally - Mardyke Street, Athlone, his brothers Vincent & Brendan and his sisters in law, Carmel & Mary.

 

Fintan will be sadly missed by his loving wife and best friend Bridie, his son Francis and daughters Claire, Pauline & Anita, daughter in law, Eimear, sons in law, Patrick & Declan and Pauline's partner Robert. His adored grandchildren, Aaron, Killian, Mia, Amy, Gráinne, Michael, Ava, Darragh, Eoghan, Sarah, Orla, Niamh & Denise, nieces, nephews and extended family & friends.

 

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Irish Cancer Care or Westmeath Palliative Care.

 

Funeral Arrangements - House Strictly Private on Wednesday 2nd April 2025.

Fintan, will repose at his son's residence on Thursday 3rd April, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm (N37 V0V2)

In order to facilitate traffic management, there will be a one way traffic system in place, entering at Michael Moore's Garage, Dublin Road, Athlone (Eircode - N37 H548) and exiting at Golden Island, Athlone.

House Strictly Private on Friday Morning.

Fintan's funeral mass will be held in. St Mary's Church, Athlone, Friday 4th April 2025 at 10.30am. Burial afterwards will be in Donegan, Mount Temple, Moate, Co Westmeath.
