The death has occurred of
Fintan Russell
Also formerly of Headford, Co. Galway.
Fintan passed away peacefully at University College Hospital on Monday the 2nd January, following a long illness. Pre-deceased by his loving wife, Bernie and by his mother Alice, father Paul and brother Paul.
He will be sadly missed by his children, David, Siobhán , Aoife and Fintan, by his sister Bernadette (USA), son-in-law Oliver, Fintan Jnr's partner Veronica, his adored grandchildren Robert, Lauren, Evanna and Liam, as well as a wide circle of family members, friends and neighbours.
Reposing at the O’ Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) on Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 2 p.m. with Removal at 3.30 p.m. to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill to arrive at 4 p.m.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Fintan on Monday, January 9, at 12 noon. Following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.
