Fintan Thomas Shannon
Rahona, Clogherevagh, Sligo and formerly of Kilkee, Co. Clare.
6 Dec, 2022.Peacefully, at his daughter’s residence in Galway, surrounded by his loving family. Fintan, predeceased by his beloved wife Lilian. Loving father of Tony, Fintan, Anne-Marie and Edel and dear brother of Joan, Maeve, DD and Bill. He will be sadly missed by his sons, daughters, sisters, brother, his adored 13 grandchildren, daughters-in-law Pauline and Sarina, sons-in-law Marc and Brian, sister-in-law Kathleen, brother-in-law Tony, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and former colleagues at Sligo University Hospital.
May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
Reposing at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Thursday evening from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Funeral will arrive to The Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, Sligo on Friday morning at 11:30am for Requiem mass with funeral proceeding to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Sligo for burial after.
