The death has occurred of
Flora Wallace
Late of Catherine Street and Lord Edward Court and formerly of O’Mahony’s Booksellers, O’Connell Street, Limerick City.
Thursday March 5th 2026 peacefully, in the care of the staff at Athlunkard Nursing Home.
Pre-deceased by her parents Monica and Bill, and her brother Walter.
Very sadly missed by her nephew Dan Wallace and niece Sarah Daly, grand-nieces Ciara and Saoirse Daly, cousins Florence Healy, Eileen Taylor, her god-daughter Claire Connolly and by a very wide circle of good friends and close family: Joanne, Jane, Graham, Paul and Barbara in Newfoundland, Antoinette, the Healy, Brazier, Glynn, Powell and Connolly families.
In keeping with her generous spirit and lifelong commitment to helping others, Flora has donated her body to medical science for the advancement of learning and care.
Flora never met a stranger, only friends she had yet to know.
May her Kind Soul Rest in Peace.
Flora's funeral mass will take place on Friday March 13th 2026 at 11.30am in St. Joseph's Church, O'Connell Avenue.
