Florence McCarthy

On 11th August 2025, peacefully at Mercy University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, Florence, beloved husband of Bessie (nee O'Shea), father of Nicholas, Christopher and Josephine, son of the late Nicholas and Annie, brother of the late Donal, Margaret Mary, Kitty, Junior, Teddy, Paddy and Ann.

Florence will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughter, daughters-in-law Niamh and Caroline, adored grandchildren Ryan, Cian, Adam, Elena, Katie and also Patrick, Lucy and Emma, brother John, sister Mary (Dowling), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, kind neighbours and dear friends.

Lying in repose at Daly's Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Drimoleague on Wednesday (13th) from 6pm to 8pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Thursday (14th) at 2pm in the Church of Mary Immaculate Dromore - livestreamed on https://corklivestream.com/funerals. Funeral afterwards to The Abbey Cemetery, Bantry.
