Florence Melody (Tiernascragh, Ballycrissane, and formerly of Legion Terrace, Longford),

passed away peacefully on the 7th of August in the wonderful care of the staff in the Galway Hospice,

surrounded by her loving family.

Florence is predeceased by her first husband Ernest Sears, her son Ernie and her sister Patricia, and will be deeply missed by her husband Michael, sons Danny, Anthony, Patrick and Barry, her daughter Bernadette, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her daughter-in law Emer, sister Kathleen, brother-in-law Ian, sisters-in-law Mary-Alice and Rena, nieces, nephews, members of the extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Florence will repose in Dignity Funeral Care funeral home, on the grounds of Portumna Retirement Village, St. Brendan's Road, Portumna, (H53 AY18), on Sunday 10th of August from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral cortége will arrive to the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Tiernascragh (H53 W822) at 11.45am on Monday 11th of August. Mass for the repose of Florence's soul will be celebrated at 12noon. Burial will take place after Mass in Tiernascragh Cemetery.
