Florrie Geelan (nee Vaughan) , 10 Castle Gardens , Newtownforbes and formerly of 26 Dublin Street , Longford . Peacefully on 4th October 2025 ,surrounded by her loving family in the care of the staff of Padre Pio ward in St. Josephs Care Centre after an illness bravely borne.

 

Pre-deceased by her parents , her twin sister Toni , sister Mary and by her infant brother Joseph.

Florrie will be lovingly missed by her family , sons Ken , Ray and Gavin , daughter-in-law Tara , grandson Kian , sister Ann Comiskey (Longford) , Helen (Dublin) and brother Frankie (Kildare) , sister-in-law Bernie , brother-in-law Arthur , nieces ,nephews , relatives , neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Glennon’s funeral Home , Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81)on Monday 6th October from 6.00pm concluding with prayers at 8.00pm . Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday 7th October in St.Mel’s Cathedral at 11.00am , interment afterwards in Newtownforbes cemetery.
