SCULLY Fr. Anthony. It is with great sadness, the death has occurred of Fr. Anthony Scully (7/6/1944) peacefully in the care of the nurses of the Mater Hospital and surrounded by his family on November 17th 2024. Formerly of Mount Brown James Street Dublin 8, the parishes of East Wall, Cherry Orchard, Ballybough, Brittas Co. Wicklow and latterly Cabra West. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary (Babs), his brothers Vincent and Eamon and sisters Ann and Margaret.

 

Lovingly remembered by his sister Bernadette and brother Stan, step-brothers and step-sisters, in-laws, nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, colleagues, friends and parishioners. Reposing (open casket) at 162 Gracepark Road Dublin 9, from 5-10 pm on the evening of the 20th with Removal to St. James Street Church Dublin 8 on the 21st for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon followed by burial at Mount Jerome Cemetery.
