The death has occurred of
Fr Bernard (Barney) Duffy
Peacefully in his 101 year at St Mary's Residential Care Home, Galway 1st June, the Feast of Our Lady, Mother of Church. Predeceased by his parents, brother and sister. Sadly missed by the Bishops, Priests and the people of the parishes where he served in the Galway Diocese, by his nephew, nieces, extended family, friends and by the residents and staff of St Mary's Residential Care Home, Galway.

Funeral mass to take place in the Galway Cathedral Thursday, 4th June, at 12 noon, burial immediately afterwards in the grounds of Kilbeacanty Church. Due to Covid-19 restrictions the funeral mass will be streamed live via webcam at www.galwaycathedral.ie/webcam and facebook at facebook.com/galwaycathedral
Memorial mass to be arranged to take place in Kilbeacanty Church when Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted.
