The death has occurred of
Fr. Bill Greene
Fr. Bill Greene SPS, St Patrick’s Missionary Society, Kiltegan, Co Wicklow, formerly of Kingswell, Tipperary Town, and Diocese of Minna, Nigeria, on June 22, 2023, peacefully in Marymount University Hospice, Cork. Predeceased by his parents, Paddy and Mai, sister Marie and brother-in-law Tom Lonergan. Sadly missed by his brother Tom, his sister Nellie Lonergan, sister-in-law Mai, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends and his Society family.
Reposing at Whelan’s Funeral Home, Bansha Road, Tipperary Town, on Saturday, June 24th, from 5 – 7pm. Funeral Mass in St Patrick’s Chapel, Kiltegan, on Monday, 26th June, at 12 noon followed by burial in the Society Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to St. Patrick’s, Kiltegan or Marymount Hospice, Cork.
