McDonnell, Fr. Brendan O.S.A (Formerly of Cork, Jos- Nigeria, and Dublin) December 10th, 2024, peacefully in the tender care of all the staff at St. Augustine’s, Ballyboden, Dublin 16. Fr. Brendan is predeceased by his parents, John and Biddy, his brothers, Denis, Finbarr, and Frankie.

 

Deeply mourned by his sisters Eilís Connolly (Dungarvan), Mary McDonnell (Cork) brothers Paddy (Cork), Dermot (Roscommon) and Anthony (Kerry), his brother-in law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, his Augustinian Confreres, a wide circle of friends, and Dr. Kealy and the exceptional nurses and carers of Comfort Keepers and Sodexo.

Reposing at St. Augustine’s, Taylor's Lane, Ballyboden, Dublin 16 on Friday (December 13th) from 5pm to 7pm ending with evening prayer and on Saturday reposing from 11am finishing with Mass at 12.15pm. Removal on Saturday from St. Augustine’s (Ballyboden) at 2pm to St. Augustine’s Church, Washington Street, Cork arriving at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday at 12 noon followed by burial at St. James’ Cemetery.
