The death has occurred of
Fr. Brendan Murray
Murray, Brendan, Missionary Society of St. Columban's, formerly of Fohenagh, Alascragh, Co. Galway,, Korea, Australia and Dalgan, Navan. Friday 16th January 2026 in the exceptional care of the nursing and care staff of St. Columban's Nursing Home after a brief illness and long fruitful life. Predeceased by his parents John and Catherine (nee Kelly) and his brothers Fr. Aiden, Leo, Tommy and his sisters Sr. Mary, Anne Cruise and Catherine. Muched loved by his many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, Columban Missionary Family, wider circle of family, friends and neighbours.
May Fr. Brendan's kind and gentle soul rest in peace.
Removal on Monday evening 19th January 2026 at 7p7pm to the Church at St. Columban’s, Dalgan, Navan. (C15AY2Y). Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning 20th January 2026 at 11am, followed by burial in the Community Cemetery.
